THE VENDING MACHINE

We simply made this project to celebrate the y2k aesthetic.

A complex aesthetic from the late-90s/early-2000s blending retro-futurism and early internet optimism which features chrome, neon colors, water form, bold rounded fonts, and glossy tech-inspired graphics. Influenced by early consumer tech, pop culture and cyberculture, this aesthetic is playful, futuristic and nostalgic, all at once.

Colorful neon-style text that repeats the words 'FREE BEER PLEASE' on a light blue grid background.
A digitally stylized can of Pepsi Lyte soda with berry flavor, showcasing a purple and green color scheme and surrounded by ice cubes.

Here are some details about our precise work on the vending machine’s UI.
